The Survivor

Issue no.2                                              BCSGJB Quarterly Newstetter                                                                                    JULY    2006

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

I would like to thank everyone for your contribution to making our activities, namely The Charity Dinner & Line Dance 06 and the talk by star columnist and food chemist Chia Joo Suan and organic agriculturist, Dr Chew Boon Hock, such a success. Truly, it was team work at its best!

Congratulations also to the Karaoke Committee for the successful opening of the Karaoke Room.

We are launching the international breast cancer awareness month with a special activity – a fashion show cum performances by the choir and the dance group. The participants of the show and performances would be survivors only.

Our objective is to give encouragement to other survivors and to showcase the activities of The BCSG JB.

Do look out for the next issue about our activities during the international breast cancer awareness month.

Let’s reach out “Towards Wellness” by applying what we have learnt from Chia Joo Suan besides our usual exercise.
